I am the owner of a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport with a 4" Full Traction lift and 33x12.50 Bridgestone Dueler Mudders.
I tried to purchase a set of mats for my Jeep on eBay since my stock mats flat wore out. I found a vendor that sold Jeep and 4x4
gear who had a set of what he said were extra-duty durable, aluminum mats. I couldn't wait to get them in and get on with it. When I finally got them (3-1/2 weeks later) they weren't even close to fitting. Besides the bad fit, they were made of something a just bit stronger than aluminum foil and looked like they had been cut with tin snips. I was righteously miffed.
I decided to find someone locally and work with them to make a set of mats. Something I liked. In the process, the manufacturer can make more cheaper than onsies or twosies.
They are cut on a computer-driven water-jet saw for
precision tolerances to get that great fit. Then they are precision
bent and drilled so when they are put into place, they stay there. I decided to sell them on my own at a price less than what I paid for the bad mats I got on eBay.

We're working on mat designs for the 2007 Wrangler. We hope to add that set to the line up very soon. We are also investigating other makes and models. We have our feet wet.
